DVDO Qucik6 Review

DVDO Quick6 Review

This thing is awesome! I love it! I’m not sure what I would do without it. Lol

There are so many different options with it. Run 2 displays from one source. Upgrade your older system with Dolby True HD and DTS HD master audio. It has 6 hdmi inputs 2 hdmi outputs and one can go directly to the tv and the other to the receiver.

And it supports 4k. Couldn’t really test out the 4k yet my display is only 1080p but I did get to use the 3D with it. And it works awesomely. Some of the other hdmi switches I have used don’t do HD audio or 3D.

One of the cool things is with my Dish Hopper a source that is always on, with other hdmi switches you have to manually switch it but the DVDO Quick 6 automatically switches to the newest active hdmi. I know, that’s awesome!

The instapreview is pretty sweet, too. If you have more than one source going, you can scroll through the active sources to select which one to go to. Whenever I switch to another source, it takes around 4 or 5 sec to show up but I think its because my receiver is a little older. But, on the led light indicator on the front of the DVDO Quick 6, it switches almost instantly.

You can also upgrade the firmware on the DVDO Quick 6. Pretty much future proof. I’m so glad I have this. I was a little worried at first but after getting it and using it:  Awesome just awesome.

Great work everybody over at DVDO.

I did a little video to show some of how I have mine setup and how it works: check it out!

My husband and I LOVE to travel, and every adventure we go on brings lots of new memories and experiences that we never forget.  Although we often enjoy staying in a luxurious hotel, we equally enjoy the adventure of roughing it by camping out under the stars.

The first time my husband took me camping (I had never been before), I was excited, looking forward to the feeling of just being in nature and learning how to set up a tent, start a campfire, etc.  Of course, the minute we arrived, it started to rain, then it started to really pour!  We set up camp, in the pouring rain, laughing until our stomachs hurt.

To this day, remembering us, completely drenched and laughing, still makes me chuckle, and proves to me that we truly do have fun wherever we go and whatever we are doing.
